Bennetts Farm

Christopher manages the farming and in particular the Dairy Herd of 200 Holstein/Fresian cows. The herd is at Manor Farm which is approximately 250 acres in size and uniquely has 3 miles of river frontage. In a drought this is very useful but when it floods, usually at least twice a year, all but 20 acres are submerged in up to 3 feet of water. Naturally this produces good pasture and Christopher also grows maize and wheat to feed the cattle. During the busy summer months a significant amount of the milk produced is used in our ice cream to produce our luxury range of Farmhouse ice creams.
